Shop Deltrol DFR Fixed Flow Regulator, Bypass Type, Pressure Compensated
The Deltrol Fluid Products DFR-100-3 Flow Regulator is a fixed bypass-type cartridge valve designed to ensure a constant flow of priority fluid while bypassing any excess flow, regardless of downstream pressure. It maintains a steady flow rate from 1 to 6 gpm (up to 10 gpm maximum input), with excess flow directed through a bypass port. The valve is pressure-compensated, which means it adjusts to maintain accurate flow settings even with varying pressures. Operating at up to 3000 psi and suitable for temperatures from -30°F to +250°F, the DFR-100-3 is built from durable anodized aluminum and is ideal for applications requiring reliable and precise flow control.
The DFR-100-3 maintains a constant flow within specified accuracies from ➀ to ➂ regardless of downstream load pressure at ➂ or bypass leg ➁. When flow produces a minimum predetermined pressure differential across the compensator spool control orifice, the spool shifts against the spring force to throttle the flow and maintain the priority flow setting. Reverse flow is not regulated.
