The Deltrol Fluid Products DFR-080-2 Flow Regulator is a fixed cartridge valve designed to regulate flow in low-flow applications, ensuring consistent flow rates despite changes in downstream pressure. This restrictive-type valve maintains precise flow from 1 to 2 gpm by adjusting its internal spool to balance flow against pressure differentials. It operates with a minimum pressure differential of 75 psi and provides reliable flow control with no regulation of reverse flow. Featuring a quiet response and capable of handling up to 3000 psi, it is suitable for temperatures from -30°F to +250°F. This valve is ideal for use with mineral-based fluids and comes in an industry-standard cavity.
The DFR-080-2 maintains constant flow within specified accuracies from ➀ to ➁ regardless of downstream load pressure. When flow produces a minimum predetermined pressure differential across the compensator spool control orifice, the spool shifts against the spring force to throttle the flow and maintain the flow setting. Reverse flow is not regulated.
