Shop 3-Position, 4-Way, Tandem Spool, D05 Lever Operated Directional Control Valves
A 3-position, 4-way, manual lever operated hydraulic directional control valve with a tandem spool is like a traffic controller for hydraulic systems. In the middle position, it blocks the flow of fluid from the pump (P) to both ports A and B, allowing fluid to freely return to the tank. When you move the lever in one direction, it directs fluid from the pump to port A, while allowing fluid from port B to return to the tank. Shifting the lever the other way routes fluid from the pump to port B, while letting fluid from port A return to the tank. This valve's spring return feature ensures it returns to the neutral position when the lever isn't being moved, creating a default state. It's commonly used in hydraulic systems to control the direction of movement in cylinders and other machinery.
