The 45-Degree Angled Male BSPP x Female BSPP adapters are designed to provide secure, leak-free connections in fluid power systems. These adapters feature male BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) threads, which are similar to NPSM male connections but have a different thread pitch and are non-interchangeable with NPT connections. The male BSPP connection forms a captive seal using metal-to-metal angled surfaces or a combination of metal and an O-ring. The female BSPP side features a swivel design with a tapered nose flareless swivel, where the seal occurs on the cone seat of the male connector. BSPP connections require thread sealants to ensure a secure, leak-free seal due to the distortion of threads. These adapters are ideal for high-pressure applications, providing durable and reliable connections in various industrial systems. Thread sizes are typically expressed using fractional dimensions, with “G” indicating parallel threads, ensuring compatibility in fluid transfer systems.
