Series 5002 Straight Male DIN x Male BSPP Nipple hydraulic adapters, made from carbon steel with an elastomeric seal, offer a reliable and secure connection for hydraulic systems. These adapters combine DIN Tube connections with BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) male fittings. DIN Tube fittings, following ISO 8434-1 / DIN 2353 standards, are designed for high-pressure systems with a 24° tapered throat for secure tube connections. BSPP connections use parallel threads, and sealing is achieved through a captive seal formed by metal-to-metal contact or a combination of metal and O-ring. The female BSPP swivel fitting has a tapered nose flareless swivel where it seals on the cone seat of the male connector. While BSPP and NPT connections are similar, their thread pitches and dimensions differ, making them non-interchangeable.
