Shop Manifold Mounted Flow Controls

A manifold/subplate mounted sandwich-style hydraulic flow control valve is a type of valve used in hydraulic systems to regulate the flow of fluid. We call this "sandwich style" because it has ports open on top and bottom, and is often stacked between a directional valve (and potentially other stack valves) and the manifold, resembling a sandwich. This design allows for compact installation and easy integration into hydraulic systems. The valve controls the flow of fluid by adjusting the size of an orifice, effectively regulating the speed of hydraulic actuators or controlling the flow rate through a specific hydraulic circuit. This configuration is commonly used in industrial machinery and equipment where precise control of hydraulic flow is essential for efficient operation.
