Representing SPAN Instruments of Plano, Texas, for many years, the Thuemling family, including Fred’s son Terry and grandsons Tim and Todd, expanded the business significantly. In 1998, SPAN acquired the Thuemling pressure gauge product line, marking a pivotal moment in the company's history. With international sales, the acquisition of Duro Instruments in 2000, and the introduction of electronic pressure transducers, SPAN continues to be a proud manufacturer of high-quality, "Made in America" liquid-filled pressure gauges.
