Shop TWG Pullmaster H12 Hoists
The TWG Pullmaster H12 is a high performance, high efficiency planetary winch with a 'Rapid Reverse' feature. The reversing or lowering speed is 4.3 times faster than forward or hoisting speed. In reverse rotation (lowering) the maximum load can be positively controlled at a line speed equal to the hoisting speed. When lowering loads at maximum reversing speed, the load must be reduced by a ratio of 4.3 of the winch maximum capacity.
The TWG Pullmaster H12 planetary winch is powered by a hydraulic gear motor and the required reduction of 41:1 (in forward rotation) is established by two planetary reduction stages. In forward rotation (hoisting) the hydraulic motor drives direct into the planetary reductions without effecting the brake assembly. When forward rotation is stopped, an over-running clutch, installed between the brake assembly and the motor shaft, will lock and the brake will hold the load safely. The multi-disc brake is spring applied-pressure released and has static and dynamic function. When the hydraulic motor is powered for reverse rotation the primary planet reduction is locked out, resulting in the fast reversing speed. When the control is returned to neutral position the brake applies automatically. A counterbalance or brake valve is not required for dynamic braking. All moving parts of the TWG Pullmaster H12 planetary winch are totally enclosed and run in an oil bath, assuring long, trouble free service with a minimum requirement for maintenance.
Drum Sizes: Different drum sizes are available to provide for larger cable storage.
Ratchet & Pawl: For a positive lock of the cable drum, a ratchet and pawl assembly can be supplied as an integral part of the winch.
Drum Grooving: When required, the Model H12 can be supplied with grooved drums
Reduction Ratios: The performance can be altered by different reduction ratios.
Hydraulic Motors: Hydraulic piston motors can be adapted for high pressure hydraulic systems.
External brake release: This option offers the facility of an independent brake release.

For safety, 5 wraps of wire rope must be maintained at all times.
PullMaster products are not to be used to lift, hoist or move people. If your task involves lifting or moving people, you MUST use the proper equipment; not a PullMaster product. Wire rope anchors on winches are not designed to hold the rated load of the winch. You must keep at least five (5) wraps of wire rope on the drum to insure the wire rope doesn't come loose. Stay clear of suspended loads and of wire rope under tension. A broken wire rope or dropped load can cause serious injury or death. Make sure that all equipment, including the winch and wire rope, is maintained properly. Avoid shock loads. This type of load imposes a strain on a winch many times the actual weight of the load and can cause failure of the wire rope or of the winch. Winch operators must be trained in the proper, safe operations of the winch. The hydraulic system should use only high quality hydraulic oils from reputable suppliers. These oils should contain additives to prevent foaming and oxidation in the system. All winch systems should be equipped with a return line filter capable of filtering 10-micron particles from the system. Please contact OneHydraulics if you need assistance with fluid selection.
