Description
The Series 1405 Straight Female NPT x Female NPT Swivel adapters are fittings designed to connect pipes with NPT (National Pipe Tapered) threads, a U.S. standard that has been used for over 100 years. These tapered threads create a secure seal by deforming the metal threads as they tighten, making them ideal for fluid and gas transfer in single-assembly applications. The swivel design allows for easier installation and alignment. NPT connections are not recommended for frequent disassembly and reassembly, as over-tightening can damage the threads.
