Description
The Series 2504-SS 45-Degree Male JIC x Male JIC Rigid adapters, made from high-quality stainless steel, are designed for fluid power systems, especially in hose end connections. These adapters feature male JIC (Joint Industry Council SAE J514) fittings, which are easily identified by their 37° tapered seats. The connection forms a secure mechanical seal when the male flared seat meets the female coned seat. These 37° JIC connections are ideal for high-pressure fluid power applications, providing reliable sealing. It’s important to note that SAE 37° and SAE 45° fittings have different seat angles and should not be mixed, as doing so could result in leakage. Proper measurement of the seat angles ensures a leak-proof, effective connection.
